For Paid Events: The Ground charges a 3% platform fee No platform fee (until end of Aug), plus the standard local credit card processing fee (Stripe fee of 3.4% + HKD 2.45 per ticket sold).

‍For Free Events: The Ground is 100% free to use. If your event has a $0 ticket price, you can use all our RSVP tracking, automated waitlists, custom questionnaires, and WhatsApp invitation templates without paying a cent.

Yes, absolutely. We offer a native "Pass Fees to Buyers" toggle. When enabled, our system automatically calculates the transaction cost and adds it to the ticket price at checkout. Your attendees absorb the combined platform and Stripe processing fees, meaning you take home 100% of your listed ticket price and pay $0.

We built Offline Transactions specifically for the Hong Kong community. If you prefer to collect fees via FPS, PayMe, or bank transfer, you can enable offline payments. Attendees will upload their payment screenshots during signup, and you can verify them with a single click from your dashboard. The Ground does not charge online processing fees on manually verified offline transactions, helping you consolidate all your RSVP records in one place for free.

All online payments are processed securely through Stripe Connect. We allow you to customize your own payout schedule on your Stripe Connect dashboard.

Organizers are responosible for handling the refund (refund via stripe not available at the moment) and setting cancellation policies. However, please note that third-party payment processing fees (Stripe) and platform fees are non-refundable once a transaction is processed. In the event of a cancellation where you issue a full refund to your members, the organizer will bear the cost of the underlying processing fees.
